Problem
The client approached us with the goal of creating a functional and user-friendly app for pet lovers. Our task was to bring this goal to fruition by designing an app that combines essential pet care functions into a cohesive and intuitive platform, enhancing the overall user experience.
Solution
To address the client's vision, our design team crafted an intuitive and user-friendly mobile app that streamlines the entire pet ownership experience. With just a few clicks, users can effortlessly navigate through the process of finding and adopting pets, procuring essential products, and seamlessly scheduling various services tailored to their furry companions' needs.
Visual design
To create an appealing and user-friendly environment, our team designed a modern visual aesthetic. The color palette incorporates warm and neutral tones to evoke energy and trust, while the Roboto font and custom icons enhance readability and facilitate user interaction.
Scope of work
Research & Discovery
Our journey began with an immersive research and discovery phase. At this stage, we embarked on an in-depth exploration of the client's vision, meticulously analyzing his requirements to gain a comprehensive understanding. Simultaneously, we conducted thorough market research, delving into the competitive landscape and analyzing the target audience's preferences and behavior patterns. This rigorous process enabled us to gather valuable insights that informed our design decisions.
Wireframing
With a comprehensive understanding of the project goals and user needs, we developed detailed wireframes for the app. These wireframes mapped the user journey, outlining the flow from initial app sign-up through pet adoption browsing, product exploration, vet appointment scheduling, etc. This iterative process ensured a smooth and intuitive user experience for all pet care tasks within the app.
UI Design
Following the wireframing phase, our design team embarked on translating the UX into UI. We meticulously created the UI design, selecting a cohesive color palette that aligns with the app's brand. Additionally, we developed a custom set of icons and carefully chose fonts that enhance readability and aesthetic appeal, ensuring that every visual element contributed to a unified user experience.
Logo Design
Beyond healthcare app design services, we were entrusted with crafting a logo for MyPet. The resulting logo showcases a circle containing minimalist silhouettes of a dog and cat head. This design decision reflects the app's inclusivity, welcoming pet owners of all furry companions. The circular shape further reinforces the themes of unity, care, and a holistic approach to pet ownership – all central to the app's mission.
Clickable Prototype
In the final phase, we developed a clickable prototype of the app. This interactive prototype allowed the client to experience the app firsthand, providing valuable feedback on its functionality and design. Based on this feedback, we made necessary adjustments to ensure the final product met the client's expectations and provided an optimal user experience. This iterative process was crucial in refining the app to deliver a reliable and user-friendly solution for pet care management.
UX/UI Design
To ensure a seamless user experience, we designed an extensive set of wireframes exceeding 20 screens. These wireframes meticulously outlined the user's journey from account creation to pet searching and product purchasing, serving as essential blueprints for the UI design.
