Problem
The client approached us with the objective of developing a straightforward and dependable project management platform. Our task was to design a web app that would facilitate smooth collaboration among team members, making their work processes more efficient, productive, and enjoyable.
Solution
To address the client's needs, our team designed a comprehensive web app equipped with features that facilitate effective task management for teams. The solution allows users to create tasks with specific due dates, monitor team progress in real time, and generate detailed reports to assess overall performance.
Visual design
To create a visually cohesive and modern web app, our design team selected a vibrant yet balanced color palette that enhances user engagement while maintaining clarity and professionalism. The use of Poppins typography and a custom set of icons further strengthens the platform’s visual identity, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
Scope of work
Research & Discovery
We initiated the project with a comprehensive research and discovery phase. This involved an in-depth analysis of the client's vision, objectives, and specific requirements for the app. At this stage, we also conducted thorough competitor research to identify market gaps and opportunities. Additionally, we performed a detailed audience analysis to understand the needs of project managers, team leads, and stakeholders who would be utilizing Fujjo.
Wireframing
Building upon the insights gathered during the research phase, our team meticulously crafted detailed wireframes to visualize the user flow and information architecture. These wireframes encompassed essential components such as the project dashboards with status overviews, Kanban boards for agile workflows, dedicated messaging interfaces, etc. This iterative process ensured that the platform's structure aligned with user needs and project management best practices.
UI Design
With the wireframes in place, we transitioned to the UI design phase, where we translated the user experience into visually compelling and functional user interfaces. At this stage, our focus was on creating an intuitive design that enhances user engagement, while ensuring that the interfaces align with industry standards in project management. The result was a cohesive and user-friendly design that facilitates seamless task and project management.
Adaptive Design
Recognizing the diverse range of devices and screen sizes used by project managers and teams, we implemented adaptive design techniques to ensure the platform’s accessibility across all devices. This phase involved creating responsive layouts that maintain usability and functionality, whether accessed on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Our adaptive design approach guarantees that users can manage projects seamlessly, regardless of their device.
Clickable Prototype
To validate our design, we created an interactive, clickable prototype that allowed the client to experience the app firsthand. This prototype included fully functional elements that simulated the final product, enabling the client to navigate through the dashboards and interact with the various features. The prototype phase was essential for gathering client feedback, ensuring that the final design met all expectations before moving into development.
UX/UI Design
To bridge the gap between user research and UI design, our team produced a comprehensive set of wireframes. These visual blueprints outlined the platform's core functionalities and information hierarchy, providing a solid foundation for the subsequent design iterations.
