The client approached us with the goal of redesigning the website to enhance its user-friendliness and functionality. We had to produce a clear CTA, bold visuals reflecting the proactive nature of the charity sector, and an intuitive layout to showcase information about all-around assistance for RESTART’s target audience.

Our design team redesigned the website, making it a modern, user-friendly nonprofit platform with clear navigation. We developed a layout that improves the visibility of enhanced communication channels for effective client interaction, assistance requests, key services, and integrated features for easy access to information.
Visual design
The visual design of RESTART’s platform embodies a balance of strength and inclusivity, aligning with its mission to support reintegration. A carefully curated color scheme evokes trust and transformation, while the Work Sans typography enhances readability across all screens.
Scope of work
Research & Discovery
We began our design process with a discovery phase and in-depth research. Our team meticulously surveyed the client’s vision, working on a comprehensive audience analysis and extensive competitor research to grasp the landscape of nonprofit organizations. This way, we aligned our design workflow with the specific needs of RESTART’s target audience.
Wireframing
Before designing user interfaces, we established a clear and intuitive website structure through wireframing. This phase allowed us to map out the user journey, ensuring seamless navigation for individuals seeking assistance, supporters looking to donate and volunteers eager to get involved. By prioritizing accessibility and clarity, we created a foundation that enhances engagement with RESTART’s charitable initiatives.
UI Design
With the wireframes as a guide, we crafted visually compelling user interfaces that reflect RESTART’s humanitarian mission. We incorporated a clean and inviting design, using warm color schemes and impactful imagery to evoke a sense of community and social responsibility. The final UI elements were thoughtfully designed to highlight calls to action, making it easy for visitors to donate, volunteer, or request support.
Adaptive Design
Recognizing the diverse ways in which users access nonprofit websites, we implemented an adaptive design approach. We ensured that the website functions seamlessly across all devices, from desktops to mobile phones, allowing individuals to connect with RESTART’s resources anytime, anywhere. This adaptability ensures that those in need, as well as potential donors and volunteers, have an optimal experience regardless of their device.
Clickable Prototype
To provide RESTART with a hands-on experience before development, we created an interactive, clickable prototype. This prototype allowed stakeholders to navigate the website, test functionality, and provide feedback, ensuring that the final product fully met their needs. By refining key interactions at this stage, we optimized the platform’s usability and effectiveness in furthering RESTART’s charitable efforts.
UX/UI Design
Our team meticulously designed over 100 wireframes to establish a structured and user-centric layout for RESTART’s website. This wireframing phase played a crucial role in optimizing navigation, allowing users to effortlessly access crime prevention initiatives, reintegration programs, and community resources.
