Problem
The client approached us with the goal of developing a simple and functional app design that allows users to quickly and easily schedule their pets for appointments with the right specialists. Our task was to realize this vision by creating an intuitive and efficient mobile application.
Solution
Our team designed a user-friendly and reliable mobile app to assist users in finding veterinary specialists for their pets. The app ensures a streamlined experience for locating and connecting with the right professionals.
Visual design
To establish a cohesive and appealing visual design, we selected a color palette that promotes trust and friendliness. The use of Mulish typography and custom-designed icons complemented the overall aesthetic, enhancing the app’s readability and user interaction.
Scope of work
Research & Discovery
Our design process started with the research and discovery phase. At this stage, we delved into the client's vision and requirements while conducting extensive research into the industry. We analyzed competitors, identified key market trends, and performed a thorough audience analysis to understand the needs of pet owners and veterinary professionals alike. This comprehensive research laid the foundation for a design strategy that would meet the client's goals and user expectations.
Wireframing
Following the research phase, we transitioned to wireframing. This crucial step involved developing wireframes for every user interaction within the app. From the initial sign-up process to appointment booking, route reviews, and writing reviews, each feature was carefully mapped out using wireframes. These wireframes served as a blueprint for the app's functionality, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
UI Design
With a solid foundation in place, we transitioned to the UI design phase. This stage involved transforming UX concepts into tangible UI elements. Our designers created user interfaces, crafted a set of custom icons that resonated with the vet industry, and meticulously selected a color palette that evoked feelings of trust and care, aligning perfectly with the pet care industry.
Logo Design
Beyond healthcare app design services, the client needed a logo that would capture the essence of VetPet. Our team crafted a logo that symbolizes the idea of pets being an integral part of the family, while also conveying the message of love and care from vets. The logo, featuring a heart and a paw, visually represents the bond between pet owners and their beloved pets, highlighting the compassionate care provided by VetPet specialists.
Clickable Prototype
Finally, to ensure seamless user interaction and gather valuable feedback, we created a clickable prototype. This interactive prototype allowed the client to experience the app firsthand and provide feedback on its functionality and user flow. This collaborative approach ensured that the final VetPet mobile app aligned perfectly with the client's vision and addressed the core needs of pet owners seeking convenient and efficient veterinary care solutions.
UX/UI Design
To ensure a seamless UX, we developed over 20 wireframes, covering essential functions such as sign-up, appointment scheduling, payments, and more. These wireframes provided a detailed visual blueprint, mapping out the comprehensive user journey.
