Problem
The client approached us with the vision of building a dependable and straightforward AI-based education web app. Our task was to design a space that would facilitate an efficient preparation for the IELTS exam, enhancing the learning process with intuitive interfaces.
Solution
According to the client’s objectives and needs, our design team developed a functional platform with features like a personalized IELTS writing guide and feedback analysis. The solution we came up with provides students preparing for the IELTS exam with progress tracking, performance evaluation, and tailored practice tasks.
Visual design
A well-structured visual system was established to support an effective learning experience, integrating a refined color palette that enhances clarity and engagement. The choice of Poppins typography ensures readability across all content, while a custom icon set improves navigation and interaction.
Scope of work
Research & Discovery
We began with an in-depth analysis of the client's vision and specific requirements for IELTS preparation. This phase involved comprehensive competitor research to identify gaps in existing solutions and ensure WriteMaster.ai provided a unique and effective approach. Additionally, we conducted audience analysis to understand the learning behaviors, pain points, and expectations of IELTS candidates, allowing us to create a platform that truly meets their needs.
Wireframing
After defining the core functionalities, we developed detailed wireframes to map out the platform’s structure and user flow. These wireframes acted as a blueprint, ensuring that the platform’s navigation was intuitive and optimized for seamless IELTS practice sessions. By focusing on logical task distribution and accessibility, we created a strong foundation for an engaging and efficient user experience.
UI Design
With the wireframes in place, we translated the user experience into visually appealing and functional interfaces. Our design team crafted a clean, modern UI that facilitates focused learning, ensuring that users can easily access practice tasks, AI-generated feedback, and performance-tracking features. Interfaces were designed to enhance engagement while maintaining an academic and professional aesthetic suitable for IELTS candidates.
Adaptive Design
Given the diverse needs of students preparing for IELTS, we ensured that WriteMaster.ai offers a fully adaptive design. The platform was optimized for different devices and screen sizes, allowing users to practice anytime, whether on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Clickable Prototype
Before development, we created an interactive prototype that allowed stakeholders to experience the platform firsthand. UX/UI Design
